Wats up everyone, new to the forums and I need some help.

I own a 1988 Civic Dx bone stock and is my daily driver. I noticed that it does not have any power steering. Did these Civic come like that from factory? Im not sure if the previous owner removed it or not. I don't see a power steering pump or nothing in there that is related to the power steering system.

Anyways, I would like to install the power steering back in the car. Can anyone tell me what parts would I need to make this happen. And is this a job that only a professional can do or is it a D.I.Y type of job?

i dont think power steering came in the 88-91 hatches but i do know that they did come in most of the sedans if not all.
