My side moldings have faded greatly and I will probably paint them. As you know on the 5G EX that the skirts, moldings, lip, and the middle of the front bumper are black. If I paint my moldings what else should I also paint while I am at it? Also, what do I need to do and use to prep the side moldings to make the paint stick, etc.?

Shave off the moulding and leave the indentation CX style boyeeeee!

How much would the shaving cost? It might be out of my budget.

 

Leave the moldings, they prevent form getting dents from careless people on the parking lots. Paint the skirts in matching color & the car will look lower. Paint the mirrors also.
