Okay well i pulled my hf engine out and went threw it and cleened and put everything back togeather i just freshend it up pritty much but i got all that back in and started driven it for about 2 days it ran fine then 4 codes pop up i have code 1, 8, 12, 20 i kno what 1, 8, and 12 is i have tryed to fix my egr but it keeps going bad and 8 i put it in TDC and its still throwing a code, but 20 i have no clue what eletricial load detector is and or how to fix it. And it runs fine for a min or 2 untill the check engine light comes on then the idle gets shakie and it bogs down bad could someone try to help me thanks

 

The ELD is part of the under hood fuse box, to fix it the whole fuse box has to be replaced. The ELD is supposed to raise the idle for increased electrical load. Your description sounds spot on for a bad ELD.

 

ok so just the fuse box can i keep the wireing and all just replace and is there any difrence in a dx fuse box becouse i can get one of them free thanks

 

yeah just the fuse box, and i think all models are the same (although only american models got ELD 's) plus if its free you might as well swap it in if its the same.

 

and is it the one under the hood or under the dash

 

well its not throwing any codes but it runs like straight **** and dosnt have enuff power to pull its self i think it may be the timing but idk im getting fed up with the pos hf engine and the engine is too hot to play with and i gota go to work soon so im just going to mess with it tomaro
