Motion sensor troubles with AU94TM by crimeguard with clifford alarm
So I followed exactly what the guy on causeforthealarm.com said and purchased the AU94TM motion sensor by crimeguard. I mounted it where he said but I cannot get it to adjust right at all. He said it is very sensative but I have had the exact opposite problem. I set it to most sensative and when sitting in the car i have to wave my hand all around at like two feet away or closer to get it to go off. But randomly when you walk past the passenger side it will make the alarm go off.
Also since the brain side of the wiring had a different plug so i turned the cord around and plugged in the sensor side to the brain and wired the wires directly to the sensor. Is it possible that the wires are in a different order or something. I know the sensor side they are in the right order, but does the plug that goes to the sensor use the same order that the plug that goes to the brain uses?

try turning the corner of the sensor that face the pass side to the rear. if it doesn't work then i guess you gonna have to adjust it down or move it to another location and readjust it.
I know moving it might help to keep it from false alarming but i would really like to find out why I can't get it to adjust correctly Has anyone ever used on of these before
I'm pretty sure that the green and blue wires are reversed between Crime Guard and DEI sensors.
The way that a DEI alarm interprets a sensor signal is different than the way it is interpreted by a Crime Guard alarm. If you spend alot of time on it, you can get it to work pretty well. But I don't think it's worth it. Maybe you could try a Clifford motion sensor.

yes i just noticed by looking at a google image of a dei motion sensor that they switch the green and blue wires. So i did that on mine and now it doesn't set the alarm off when you walk past the car. It ocaasionally does the warning chirps. I still have it adjusted all the way up and it doesn't trigger easily at all but I don''t think there is really anthing i can do at this point other than get a different sensor. Thanks for the help guys
