I've been looking at s2ks for the past 2 years. i just recently sold my civic si for 5k. im now ready to put it on a ap1 s2.

is the top automatic. when i say i automatic i mean like in my si you press and hold the button and the top opens.

 

Yes/No. It is motorized, but you still have to manually remove the latches. It does have a button though and it does automatically go up/down. Ofcourse all of this would be known from a single test drive.

 

Its like a tent, you have to unfold it and stuff

Proves that once again tall people (myself included) shouldnt drive the S2000. I have no issues reaching them and honestly never thought anyone would.

Yeah, it's just like your Si. You press a button and a glass panel in the middle of the roof slides backward. Except, the instead of a glass panel there is a vinyl convertible top. And instead of you pressing a button, you drink a shot of coolant.

haha u guys are funny. i was so into driving the car and talking to the salesman that i actually forgot it was even a convertable haha. what a bad sales rep. i thought sales reps usually try to make you buy it. this man was trying to make me not buy it. and he owns a s2k himself wow

 

That right there clearly tells us something.

 

I trust that salesman. I don't think you should buy one either.

im 5,6 and have t-rex arms and i can reach the passenger roof latch?

 

everytime I look at one at my honda dealer they never ask me if i need help. they are pretty rude at my honda dealer. They must not like to sell cars

 

My local honda dealerships are the other way around. You walk in the parking lot to look at cars and they won't stop following you. Gets pretty annoying after awhile.

 

Yeah that does suck too. The weird thing is they see me pull up in my S2000 and they still don't ask me if I need any help or even give me the time of day

 

I got chimp arms, I can undue the latches and even adjust my passenger APR carbon mirror while in the driver's seat.
