Is anyone here running a complete Tein suspension on their EK? If so, what system and how do you like it?

 

I have the HAs. I love them.

HA's for me, but i do not have the top plates, just basic tein ha's

what do you all run your car on usually? I actually find it handles all around better if i leave it on 12 front and 8-12 rear

dont got a ek but got a eg hatch. i got tien type flex with pillow ball mount and rear type r sway bar and all i can say my bro geting the same type too. but why when i got them it said it was for dc2 and eg6 but i needed the rear lower control arm from a type r?? or did they give me the wrong one??

ALL EG's need the type r rear lower control arms.

we just put HA's oin my friend's '93 4 door, he loves em btw, but he went to acura and bought them, but used ones work fine as well yo

 

I have TEIN HR on my 99 EK h/b. Rusting out now, perches all seized up already. Not a lot I can do with it.

 

Is that a common problem with Tein's? Also, is there a big difference between the HA system and the SS (besides the use of the ITR LCA's)?

 

How much for 2000 EJ?

 

It depends mainly on where you live. If you have snowy winters with a lot of salt on the roads and a lot of rain, you can pretty much expect any Sus rust up weather it be Apex N1's ,Tein's, etc. Gotta California. I believe the SS is a street version which= ***** spring rates.

ra`s are a little too much for the street IMO. That red eg I`m driving has the ra`s and it`s pretty brutal around town.

 

cool. did you say you can get custom spring rates with the HA and are the HA discontinued and now replaced with the new SS line? thks as always.

 

i have RAs on my EK, there fine once u get used to them, but hard cornering on bumpy roads SUCKS

 

I just bought another set of ha`s today. I don`t believe they are discontinued. I don`t like to deal in custom rates, makes the transaction too complicated. I don`t want to be bringing stuff back becuase somebody was given the wrong rates. That`s no fun for either of us
