I have curb scuffs on the bottom of my front bumper
Can I just sand some and then spray an automotive color spray paint 'import stock' color can? Is there a chance it might come out worse?

yes you can do that, its the bottom anyway.. no one can see it. if it bothers you a lot then yes do it. but bottom of the bumper will always get scuffs...
