Backyard Special EK9 spoiler lift Pics
Just took some pics of the Backyard Special Spoiler Lift brackets mock-mounted up on my car,I know its nothing amazing to look at but I thought I would just post them up for reference and because several people asked for pics of it mounted.
Apparently you have to drill into the CTR wing base to mount these, they have two heli-coiled holes to mount studs in so that they may be mounted, the top of the brackets of course just bolt up like stock.

yeah my cars not a show car and the spoiler needs paint, thats all in the future so dont worry about it.

Im gonna make my own with a shorter mount and smaller kick than yours. But looks ok i guess. Is just the mount looks to high and to much of a kick.I think u should take it to a machine shop have them to take some stock off of that and put an angle so u would have less kick to it.But if u like it like that, just rock it.

so how are they "NOT" actual BYS brackets? have you personally held a pair and seen them mounted in person as well-I highly doubt that,I guess the EK9 that they came off of that was equipped with the entire friggin BYS catalog was fake as well right?
Sorry I was drunk and being a dick lastnight. But no they are not real, they don't put that much of an angle on the wing. Probably just a knock-off of some sort, you can't go anywhere without seeing a raised "r" wing anymore.
you need to go out and get layed or somethin son, all you do is hop on threads and let your keyboard write checks that your *** cant cash...
