HELP: '88 Honda CRX si ________New problem everything PLUGED in wont start_____HELP

Specs
TBA: 1988 Honda CRX Si
engine: D16A6 stock SOHC
notes: Car engine is completely stock and wiring system is stock.


NEW PROBLEM:
Now that I am finish with everything and plugged in but wont start.

Description of problem
1. the high beam light on dash is stuck on
2. both turn signal green arrows on dash are on solid
3. When started nothing just cuts out no engine noise or starter and all lights go out.

What I checked
1. Check battery 11v, all fuses, connections, anything noticable, grounds.
2. switched ECU

Need to check
1. Main relay - how do you check the main relay?
2. if starter is getting power when key is turn on so I can chase problem down.

Notes:
Let me know if you guys need to know anything or what should I check or do.

the big wire on the starter is probably touching the little wire.

 

what he said... or your ignition melted inside. ive had this happen on BOTH of my 88-91 hatches. the little ignition subharness that has the rotating switch inside likes to melt.

 

thanks guys it worked and should be racing in no time let me know if you need anything in LA

 

so what was it? the little ignition subharness in the car or the big starter wire touching the small starter wire?
