A friend of my owns a 1994 ex sedan that apparently has some wiring issues. The ABS light is stuck on but it's throwing no codes. I went as far as removing the fuse from the ABS fuse panel and it continues to stay on. When you press on the brake the stereo turns off and the temperature gauge goes to redline (hot). When you take your foot off the brake the stereo turns back on and the temperature gauge goes back to normal. Obviously there is a short "somewhere" and I'm assuming there is definitely one in the brake system; and possibly in many other looms. My question is simple, where should I begin to look for broken wires and how do I test for a voltage leak? Thanks for your time!
Your going to need a multi-meter, a wiring diagram and most of all a hole lot of patience. Electrical gremlins are a huge pain in the ****.
If you need a wiring diagram PM me and I'll see what I can do for you.
