92 prelude no start
I have a 92 prelude with h22a/5 speed. engine is new with under 30k miles. I did the coolant bypass mod last night. the first time I started it, it had a weird idle it went up to about 2k rpm then down to 500 repeatedly. I know I didnt unhook any vacuum lines while doing the mod so I unplugd the battery to reset the ecm. after that the car ran 100 percent while driving today I heard a chatter from under the hood. It was coming from the distributer then the car just cut off! now it wont start at all. it turns over but no start. last time it did this the shop said my pgm fi fuse blew but I can find any blown fuses. please help
Did you open the cap to make sure the rotor is still intact? I have a bad distributor bearing which recently caused the rotor screw to rattle off, which made a mess inside the cap. BTW, you can still be getting spark when this happens.
