Integra alarms
I know for a fact that integras are stolen quite often..
I read somewhere that last year it was #1 stolen car...
So i was thinking..
the first thing i might get on it.. probably will be a good car alarm..
Do you guys know any good manufacturers?
I heard of Viper.. It seems really good and my first choice so far.
By the way sorry if this was posted before.. i didnt see any security posts.

clifford or autopage come to mind. one trick a lot of us use is NOT to wire up the blinking LED. the light only tells a thief he has an alarm to worry about. it's better if they find out the hard way.
if any thing the antenna can be relocated on the rear hatch glass on the top area and any alarm that is Made by DEI would be a good alarm (viper, python, clifford, avital & hornet and dont forget the back up battery (DEI 520T)

I have my alarm antenna at the highest spot under the dashboard. Not the highest spot in the car but it still works from a couple hundred feet out.
Why would you NOT want to have the flashing LED? Better to deter the thief from even touching the car than to set it off and do a bit of damage.
if you take the plastic off the front pillar you can run the antenna wire up there and on top of the headliner. you don't have to take the whole headliner out, either, just take off the driver's visor and you can pull it down.
hmm...
Im probably gonna first get an alarm on my integra.. then do some performance mods.
I think ill get a Viper
It seems really good. Just kinda expensive..
But worth every penny.
So should i wire the flashing LED or not?

This is sound advice. The flashing LED is a good idea.

And don't go around telling everyone what alarm you're putting in. You better not get that particular Viper alarm since you just broadcast on this forum which one you're getting.
Knowing what make and model alarm is in the vehicle gives virtually no advantage to an automotive vandal/burglar.
