I ws wondering what type of oil should I use for my manual tranny....I can't get. Hold of honda oil what can use instead of that

 

GM Synchromesh

 

or penzoil synchromesh

 

How thick is the oil?

 

I've always used 85w-140.....that's y I ask....is that too thick

 

Use 10W-30 Engine OIL!!!

Honda tranny's are meant to be used with low viscosity fluid (engine oil). If you cannot use OEM Honda MTF, choose like torco or something with low viscosity. 85w-140 is too thick and can do more damage than good.
