does anyone know where the oil filter on a 96 shadow is
hey ive checked on line and cant find it looked and cant find it. just askin. if your gonna be a dick and write some smart a$$ coment dont. just need some help froma fellow rider... thanks

With most Hondas, it's behind the front tire. Shadows are vtwins, or i4s? I think the former. At any rate, it should still be in the front, near the bottom. Were you able to find the oil drain plug?

yeah i know where the drain plug is. me and my dad both dont know where it is and hes no moron when it comes to bikes, we just cant find out where the filter is.

i was only able to find one reference where someone said it was on the rear of the motor and most easily accessible from the right side of the bike.

The oil filter is located in the rear of the engine.Don't forget to change the crush washer on the drain plug.The drain plug is on the left side of the engine case in the front.
