I shot 50 at 4400 it was my version of Vtec WOT switch and RPM switch. I went through 30 bottles at least then sold the driveline.. still runs today. That was 4-5 years ago. Like stated back off timing, run good gas, put it WOT, and runa wet kit. People knock nitrous. I used to be a nitrous junkie. WHen I first started driving Hondas(93) 86 Hatch, I had a reground cam, hogged out heads, bike carbs and homeade fogger setup. I came from V8s and there were not many options..

i would recommend the zex wet kit. Very easy to hook up, comes with 55,65,75 jets. Just retard the timing according to what size your running and run 91oct or higher fuel and run a few steps colder plugs.

When I upgraded from a ZC to B series, I decided to throw some n2o at the ZC to see what it would hold. Went through 6 10lb bottles with a dry 120 shot before failure. All in about 2 weeks. Dropped a valve on #3. BTW it was fun while it lasted.

If you go with a wet kit, retard the timing, run a WOT switch, you should be fine. Stay under 100 shot.

yes on a d-series i would recommend not spraying over a 100 shot on stock bottom end, also with anything over a 75shot (wet) i would upgrade the fuel pump. LudeEFv2.4 i bet it didnt help the motor with you running stock fuel pump and stock injectors with a 120shot (dry).

Stock injectors, but the fuel pressure was upped and the ecu was chipped. ZC's were like $300 at the time, I really didn't care if I blew it up, actually, I think that was kinda the point. I was just letting op know what kind of abuse mine took before it popped.

Either way nitrous didn't make it drop a valve. Overrev maybe, but nitrous no.
