i just aquired some JDM sidemarkers and i was wondering if they went in a certain spot on the fender or if it was just a judgement.

Hehe definitely. I took a lot of pics of sidemarkers, to see how to correctly mount them, but the best measurement I came up with was to take the sidemarker and line up the bottom of the marker with the top line of the molding to start off with, and the unit of measurement I will use is (1 side-marker length) ok hehe, so once its lined up, move it up 1 and a half sidemarker lengths from where U started at. Basically you should be able to fit another sidemarker + half of one in between the top of the molding and the bottom of the sidemarker. The best measurement for left to right, is to use the end of the molding where its round. The end of the molding is the end of the sidemarker. Use a string with a weight to line it up pefectly, or a level if U have one. Hope that helps!!! Peace I made this up myself, but its almost as perfect as those tutorial guys, and their explanations are complicated, hehe. I just cant help you on the perfect cut for the fender. Those guys have that listed.

within this link it talks about a harness clip...what is this and where do i get it? i should be receiving my Stanley EK sidemarkers tomorrow and would like to install them asap...but haven't heard of this clip. any help?

 

most of the stanley sidemarkers have the clip already on the sidemarker. I dont know whats up with the EKs tho'. [B]and by the way, a good guy I know Andy sells all the JDM Stanley sidemarkers for every model...EG/DC2,BB/EK,DA,CB,CD,RS-X(DC5) FOR $40 on www.streetlightz.com[B]
