Default Is this normal??

So today I was driving with my AC on(Finally got AC recharged & vacuumed out) and my car popped a CEL and if I drive it long enough, it'll overheat. After 30 mins of driving and no more A/C, I shut it off. Then I restart the car to see if the CEL would still be on but no. Then I drove the car again with no CEL and as soon as I got to my mom's house(another 20-30 min drive) I turned it off and turn the key to the "ON" position. There's no CEL but I jumped the two pin connector anyway and I got a 1 Long Blink only which is the Code1 Heated oxygen sensor A and there's no CEL staying on either.

Is this normal when there's no CEL and you jump the code anyway and get the 1 long blink??

I would check to see if you fan is working.

As far as the CEL goes, I had no CEL codes stored and jumped my connector to adjust ignition timing and my CEL stayed on. You might want to check your resistance from the ECU connector to the O2 sensor, and also check for continuity to ground.

Thanks alot for the info. I found out that the 1 long blink only is code 10 - IAT sensor. The harness that plugs into the sensor isn't secured because the sensor tip broke off while being shipped. Another memeber said that it was the code stored from when it was on, so yeah.

The only fans that work is my Driverside fan.

You might want to get them both working.
