Installing Subs? 2000 Honda Civic EX Sedan
I have a completely stock 2000 Honda Civic EX Sedan. I have some subwoofers in my house left by my brother, with an amp, box, and everything. I was wondering if it would be possible to install them and hook them up to my stock stereo. I have pictures:

If its possible, I can try and do it myself. I just would need to know what cables, etc. I need, or if I should just get it professionally installed. Thanks!

the answer is "yes" you can. You will need an amp kit, as well as a LOC, Low Ouput Converter, it piggy backs onto a pair of speaker wires and converts the signal into an "rca" so that you can utilize the low input on your amp. maybe 25ish for an amp kit, usually 5-20 for a LOC, depending on brand.
Okay, I figured out mostly what I need, I think. Just one question.. Why do I need the amp kit? I realize i need speaker wire to connect the subs to the amp, RCA/LOC to connect the amp to the head unit... What comes in the amp kit, and where would I need it? Thanks.
when hooking up a LOC do it behind the radio. Reason 1 is if you ever swap decks the RCA's are there. Reason 2 is tie into the front speaker leads not the rear, I have run into problems of feedback at low volume levels where the subs will "rumble" like crazy from the rears feeding back through the LOC into th amp through the subs back to the rears and the cycle continues.
power lead, ground lead, fuse block of some sort, ring terminals, and probably a pair of rcas
