Default help removing chrome plating off gsr blades

is there like a spray or something i can buy from like a local supermarket that will break down the chrome plating?

If its has actually been chromed (they weren't stock) you'll probably have to media blast it to get it off.

And then a means to remove the Nickel coating that is adhered to the metal (media blasting won't get rid of the Nickel coat).

i think you can try easy off oven cleaner, it is 100% safe and does not harm your blades.

Excellent point. However, if the OP's intention is to paint them, he could probably (possibly?) paint over the nickel layer.

I would assume sanding / grinding would really be the only way to remove the nickel completely.

Of course, this is assuming the OP actually has chromed blades, which would be a complete waste of nice OEM AL wheels imo.

Won't do anything for chrome, nickel, or even the copper coating (used under the nickel on "show chrome" plating).
