Like the title says. I would like to know how much paint it will take to paint my crx. I am doing the jams also but not the interior. I am going to be using the 06 Moon Rock metallic from an s2k and its got lots of pearl in it. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Personally, I would get a gallon. This will be plenty and will cover you for paint matches in case of a fender bender, JDM front end change, anything. Cant hurt.

 

is that ready to spray or before reduced?

 

id say about 1.5 gallons. depending on the fact if your really gonna get really technical and spray under the bumpers etc. are you taking off the head liner as well??

 

dip the car in a huge tank.....

 

LOL at the kids here.. 1 gallon for a crx? Im glad you guys have tons of money to spend on **** that isn't necessary. If your not painting the interior 1 quart of chroma base or chroma premiere. That particular paint along with other reduces 1:1 so 1 quart gives you 2. Thats plenty of paint for a crx exterior with a little left over for touch up's etc.

 

this is all i used....


i had enough to paint 2 extra fenders, an extra spoiler and the bottom side of the hood and mirrors.
oh yea, the big gallon was only 1/2 full they had ran out of the smaller cans.

 

this belongs in the paint and body section and lol at one gallon rule of thum is that if you are going from light to dark I.E black primer to a light color you will use much more paint as a black base on a black car.

I painted the exterior of my CRX with 6 coats of paintforcars.com paint. I didnt use the entire gallon.
