Ok guys I bought yet anothe 88 civic sedan and it has a blown head gasket. I have a good a6 head laying around. My question is will I need anything to put this head on or will it just bolt up using the head bolts that where originaly on the sedan also is the cam gear the same? If the cam gear is different can I use the cam gear off the sedan and put it on the a6 head all info would help

yes same head bolts and the same cam gear. will bolt right up will suggest a valve job before u install the head espically if its been laying around

 

I aready have the head on the work bench lol thanks for th help also can you tell me what theses heads go for I bought mne for 25 when I swaped a motor in my friends car

 

they go for as cheep as you can sell them or as much as you buy them
