1992 LX Starting Problems.
Here is what I have:
An Accord LX. With about 280,000 miles. In the morning it starts fine. In the afternoon, it gives my wife problems. The problems have been getting progressively worse. It seems to turn over just fine. But no joy. (not starter or battery) But it never even kicks. Once it starts it is a happy camper. I have noticed a loss in gas mileage of about 10% lately. This could be just miserable traffic. Anyone seen this?
Please advise!

its prob the main relay located under the steering column. it usually doesnt start when its real hot or cold outside. when it doesnt start tap under the steering column a few times until you get it resautered or replaced
This is your best place to start. Your description is dead-on for main relay.
I believe it is part#28 on this page at $50

My 92 had same problem at about your miles.

OMG Thank you guys so very much. I never thought such an easy job, could turn into such a mother, but it looks like we got it to work. The guy hosting that page with the instructions, has a post about visiting his advertisers. I will certainly do that, but need to know where to look. (nothing at the bottom of his page) That is defnitely a "two thumbs up" resource.
Thank you again!!
