Default My Accord, swap pics, and good stuff

My car is a 1994 Ex-L coupe; 5-speed.
I got a JDM H22a from Hondamotorsonline.com. Aside from the broken vacuum tank for the secondaries (from shipping) it was in great shape. The motor seems like it is practically brand new.
Along with the swap I got an Aasco flywheel, ACT HDSS, Corbeau Forza, Energy Suspension mount inserts, DC sports short shifter, made a custom CAI, did a battery relocation, and an OBXR header.

When im not at school I work at a Honda dealership doing new car prep work. So i had access to to a lift, all kinds of tools and parts at 10% over cost. My parts bill was still $800.
Here we go...
Pulling out the F22b1 (which is still for sale! $400!)

Timing belt, balance shaft oil seal recall etc

Front of the block/head, very clean!

Aasco light aluminum flywheel, never actually weighed it, im guessing 10lbs.

Act HDSS

Empty engine bay

Me in the engine bay

On the lift...

H22a in its new home...

Energy Suspension insert...

Prelude Side Mount...

All done...

Shot of my car...

Another...

Carbon covered tips...It likes to shoot 5ft flames on the 1-2 shift with the test pipe

My parent's 15ft tall sunflowers own j00!

Any questions? Feel free to fire away!

i love it. I didnt wrap the header because I ran out of thermo-tec wrap. This is all just temporary and not worth buying some, taking off the header, wrapping it etc. I plan to boost it.

After working on cars without a lift and then getting hired by Honda i cant imagine not having access to one. It makes things much easier. If I ever build a house, it will have a garage with a lift.

We lowered the engine into the car. I cant imagine doing it another way with an accord.

Removal: 2.5 hours
Wiring: 3.5 hours
Installation of H22a completely to turn the key 4 hours

There was alot of downtime waiting for parts and there was time spent tuning it up, making the intake, relocating the battery, new CV joints. Total hours of labor was about 15.
