We are going to be doing the sohc race in August at SDR

We are wanting to gauge interest in doing the same thing for the dohc guys on the same date to bring out more people.

would be pretty much the same rules as the single cam race, all motors are limited to 2.4l, dual cams only

one or two power adders for all
fwd can use slicks
rwd can use drag radials
awd can use drag radials


and possibly putting the winners from the single cam and dual cam race against each other for bragging rights

post up and let us know who would be interested in doing a race of this nature along with the single cam guys

$25 tech card, of which $15 from every tech card will be put back in for a purse - 50% to the winner, 30% to 2nd, and 10% each for 3rd and 4th

Cool. Talk to everyone. Between some of the local guys, you, Go Autoworks, SPOOLIN matt, and others we will probably have enough people to run a DOHC class.

im down to go as long as i dont have to work. are the rules for car configuration as posted in the SOHC thread or are there going to be import showdown rules as far as interior and exhaust and things like that?

 

Rules are pretty open at this point. They are posted in the first post. I would like to see all the body panels on the car and at least a dash and seat. We will see how this event goes and go from there. We will be doing more stuff next year hopefully.

 

I'll be there. Don't have my engine ready, but i'll be snapping pictures!!
