I disagree about the price, tothewall. I think it's very reasonably priced...especially considering the sale includes the oem underbody spoiler kit, an additional painted oem front lip (never used), jdm fog lights, the oem carbon fiber dash kit, the oem trunk mat and cargo net, the h&r/tokico suspension, and more. The sale also includes all the stock parts that have been replaced.
The car also has new tires and a fresh $60.00 oil change (7/6/09) with Mobil 1 synthetic.
If you look at autotrader for preludes with under 100k miles within 500 miles of my zip (23112), you will see that they average 9500 and top out at 12,900. 65% of those cars have some horrible looking modifications. 35% look stock. 0% of those cars have the oem underbody spoiler kit.
Don't believe? Run this search and see for yourselves....

I can absolutely guarantee that you won't be able to sell this car for anywhere even remotely close to this price.

Of course you think it's reasonably priced, it's your car! You want to get as much money as you can for it and that's understandable, but there's a difference between holding out for top dollar and asking an unreasonable number. You've been trying to sell this car for more than six months, that alone should tell you you're asking too much. I know times are tight and you're thinking you just need to find the right buyer but you won't. The person that would have paid you good money for the car went to A Better Way Wholesale Autos and talked them down to $10000 or so on the first car that shows up in the link you provided, and that's a car two years newer with half the miles on it. Or they went somewhere else and bought a newer car with lower miles for less money than what you're asking. And that's a dealership!!! Or maybe they bought that silver 2001 SH with 37k on it for 8500-9000 from the private seller! Your own link is telling you you've priced the car on the moon! Listen man, I'm not trying to beat up you or your car but you've priced it out of the game. It's a nice car that I would be psyched to drive but you need to be asking KBB retail and throw a party if you can get KBB PP excellent for it. Or just keep it and enjoy it.
Let me preface this by saying I think it's a very nice car in exceptional shape and anyone that likes preludes would like yours, including me. But not at 11,500.

Thats just the thing...you are writing this as if you are a normal, everyday buyer looking for a great deal on a car with low miles. The person who buys my car will be specifically looking for a prelude with the factory body kit in excellent shape. I agree...it's not for everyone and it's not what most will be looking for - but i'm cool with that. I don't mind holding onto the car if I don't get the price I want. It's a great car, a joy to drive, and I have another car to rack up mileage on....
Like I said earlier....if I wanted to lower the price down to KBB, I would simply take all the extra highly sought after parts off. If I needed to get the car out of my garage, I would take a low offer. It's as simple as that! I receive emails for this car everyday with offers thrown at me from $9,000 cash all the way to $10,500. On the other hand, a chick and her husband who are looking specifically for a low mileage, pearl white prelude with oem body kit are waiting to sell their 99 Corvette to give me full asking price....
I appreciate your opinion, but I'm in no rush to sell. I'll hold out for the right buyer.

First of all...the prelude on A Better Way Wholesale is priced at $11,995 - not $10,000. You cant assume that a buyer will be able to talk them down to $10,000. The silver 2001 SH with 37k on it is listed at $10,250, not 8500-9500. Again, you can't guarantee that you will be able to talk that seller down either. While those cars have lower mileage and are slightly newer, there are many other things to consider. Have they been in an accident? Do they have any non-original paint? Have they spent their lives in a garage? Have they had regular maintenance? Do they leak oil or need new tires?...etc. On top of that - none of those sales include every oem accessory including the underbody spoiler kit + all stock parts.

I'm not assuming, I'm in the business and I know what cars sell for. That's just the way it is. I'm not going to argue with you over why your car has a stupid price, the fact that it has been for sale for six months suggests I'm right. If you got a real offer (a real offer is someone standing in front of you with cash in hand, nothing less) for 10500 and you turned it down you're an idiot, case closed. GLWS.
