kind of a vauge question I would say... do you want more power? are you happy with the auto tranny? do you have the funds to be able to do the job right? these are all questions you really have to ask yourself before anyone can help

If you have to ask this question you havent done 1 lick of research.. google it and/or use the search function on here man. And if your doing the project yourself i advise not to without a large amount of research before even buying.

Not to mention, stock honda auto tranny's are not the best when dealing with boost. Sure you can build it, but right out the gate, the auto may fail if driven hard enough with enough boost.

a swap for a 5 speed?

depending on where you can get parts, not too bad. Like if you go to junkyard and find everything, probably cheaper than the hassle of selling the car, finding a new one in good condition that has not been dogged or all messed up, new titles, inspection, blah blah blah. You get my point. But, many people will swear its not worth the money to do a 5 speed swap, but hey do what you want, but it really is not that difficult.

I have an 02 accord se manual and would love to have turbos on it. But for an automatic I would just do other mods. But that's just me. You can gain HP doing upgrades that are a lot cheaper.

i know it's not the same, but relative. I don't really understand why people say automatics can't be turbocharged. Get a torque converter that's rated for higher torque capacity? Impreza/Supra folks do it on their automatics with bigger turbo setups.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

They can be but the accord trannys are not the same as all-wheel drive setup Impreza and rear wheel drive Supra. And at that, those tranny are even beefed up to support the turbo hp levels.
simply put, Its harder to beef up the accord trannys. not many parts availible as well compared to actual racing vehicle stock.
