Default Will trim paint be any good?

I was wondering if i buy some duplicolor trim paint to paint my front lip (urethane) will it stick onto the urethane? and will it also crack if the lip flexes a little?

noob question yes i know

also should i do any prep before painting or just spray right on?

from when i've used trim paint, it seems to be a little flexible...not sure if you can fully flex it, but i know it can move a little...as far as spraying the lip with it, are you going for like a matte look? cuz that's how it's going to look with trim paint...if you do want to paint with trim paint, i would at least sand the lip with some 600 to help the paint adhere then giving it a few light coats so it looks even throughout...try to spray a little then shake the can, spray a little more shake the can that way you have constant pressure and it wont look blotchy

You can also buy adhesion promoter to help it stick.

Is the paint you bought made for interior or exterior?

Hello, I painted my Si lip with primer and flat black trim paint and it came out looking very OEM and I flexed the lip and the paint didn't crack at all. No clearcoat as it would not look OEM and I didnt sand it because I didn't have the right sized sandpaper for it and I needed the ones I had for something else and I didnt really care about it that much to have it be flawless. Besides the scratches that I didnt bother sanding, The paint itself came out excelent.

This is what I used:
