I have a 97 civic ex coupe and i want to buy 4 door GSR seats and i want to no if the back once will have gaps the top portion or will it have good fitment..if you have piks with 4 door gsr seats in a coupe EK can u post them up i would want to see how it looks

I know for sure that Integra backseats aren't a straight dropin to an EK. I'm not sure how bad they are yet, as I've just acquired mine and haven't tried yet.

I have heard several people say though, that to have Integra backseats fit as close to flawlessly as possible in an EK, you need a 4 door top cushion and a 3 door bottom cushion. Or vice versa. Maybe someone else can tell you for sure. I might know more after this weekend lol.

 

I know the 3dr rear bottom didnt fit in my ek. Don't member what the problem was on the top ones though.

The tops of a 3-door fit into an EG hatch perfectly. The bottoms of a 3-door don't fit anything (EG or EK, coupe or hatch). The 4-door bottoms supposedly fit an EG hatch, but I haven't seen it myself. Not sure if they'll fit an EG coupe or an EK anything.

ok i just bought all 99 GSR 4 door seats front and back and i came home to put them in the front will only screw on with 3 bolts and the back seats only bottom part belry works the top part wont go on because the latch for the seat to attach to is in the middle and there is one but the stock seats have 2....so what am i supposed to do now how do i fit the seats or make them work..im heka pissed off i thought u guys said they will work..wtf...
and most of you guys answer for a hatch I HAVE A COUPE..97 civic ex COUPE not hatch i dont care if the seats work or not in a hatch i need to no if they and how they work in a coupe..if some one has piks of 4 door gsr seats in a CIVIC COUPE front and back can u please post them i want to see how you guys did it....................

 

To fit the front seats, you have to swap the inner rails from your existing seats, or the inside rear bolts will not line up. Remove the inner rail from your civic seats and put them on the teg seats. The front seats should fit perfectly if you do that. Easy.

Srsly, reading back through this thread, I don't see anywhere where anyone said the backseats would work... I see lots of posts where people said they would NOT work. In fact, I even said that they wouldn't work perfectly, so I'm not sure what you're pissed about.

 

trial test. do it yourself and do a DIY

 

theres a thread that shows how its done. look for "itr seats in ek", i just read it two days ago. you need the 4door bottom cushion(which you have) and then take the top cushions off and then switch them with your original top cushions. pretty simple DIY.

 

so does any one no what can i do to fit the back seats good cuz i dont want it to look gay..does anyone have piks of gsr seats in there EK coupe???please post...
