Default Mr. DeOro EF w/ B18C

Hello Honda-Tech,

My name is Carlos DeOro I am an Automotive Instructor at ATI Technical Center. I am new to honda-tech as a member. I have however been reading honda-tech for sometime now.

I just bought an EF and I thought I would create a build thread so that my students can also look at my build and get some what inspired.

I bought about a week ago a 1990 Honda Civic HB w/ B18C1. How ever the seller claims to have put type R internals. The purchased cost me 2,000 dollars.

There is a bunch that must be changed just so that the car runs the way it should. Here are the reasons why its not running right.

- GSR Manifold has the Secondary Butterflies shut closed
- OBD 0
- GSR Cams
- Factory Exhaust piping with loud and annoying muffler.
- No intake
- Dropped with Dropzone springs and have really bad camber.
- Clicking Axles

That is just some of the things. It also has a really ugly front bumper. That when given a chance I will rip it off.

I plan to fix these things and continue to restore and create quite a driving machine. My goal is to have a very well balanced vehicle. I will be doing from Suspension to Engine Mods.

I am not going to put a parts list of things I would like. I am however gonna build this thing.

Here are some pics of the car the day I bought them. Let me know what you think!!!

<a href="http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e112/cmdeoro/Hatchy/?action=view&current=IMG00061-20090717-1447.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e112/cmdeoro/Hatchy/IMG00061-20090717-1447.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

So as soon as I remove that front bumper I will be concentrating on replacing the front axles. Then, I am fixing that camber.
