Default s2000 240hp with turbo need help

this is what i have

honda s2000 01
Kenne bell boost-a-spark
Synapse Synchronic BOV Blow Off Valve
RC Fuel Injectors 650cc
T3/T4 TURBO CHARGER T04E 0.50 A/R
Walbro Fuel Pump 255 LPH
greddy e manage ultimate
8psi

The tuner just doesnt understand .
I just spent $1500.00 just to find out my cat was plugged
what i really mean is they fixed some leaks in the turbo tube , changed the plugs and changed my oil lines, but a few days ago when he started to tune it he said at 6000 rpms my vtec wasnt working and i was only pushing 202hp on the dyno. he said if the vtec was working it would be 300-350 hp. vtec is working now but was only making 210hp , then they unhooked my cat and gave it 30 more hp. The only suggestion he had was get a different turbo.
I want the 300-350 hp but after $6000.00 spent im just so disgusted with not knowing what to do . CAn anyone help? Plus what would be the safest psi i can run on that stock motor? I was running 14 and it flew. he said my engine wouldnt last.

If he's saying your engine wouldn't last,, go to another tuner. T3/T4 could be anything. Please be as specific as possible (wheel inducer / exducer ) or model number (giving A/R numbers don't help)

did you check ALL leaks?, is the rest of the kit quality? Where'd you get the turbo from? It actually could be a blown turbocharger

Different tuner for sure. Doesn't sound like he knows what the hell he's doing. A good tuner should be able to tell you what needs to be done and what problems there are with your set up.

Also, PSI is irrelivent. CFMs and compressor efficiency is what matters when deciding how much boost to run.

What manifold are you using? Is there a leak pre turbo?
You said you had IC pipe leaks, so it's possible there is a leak elsewhere.
What sized exhaust? Even people with stock exhausts have made more power than that. Also, what kind of dyno? If it's a mustang dyno and it made 240whp that's not terrible for a small turbo and a small exhaust with a shitty engine management system.

Understatement of 2009. Take your car somewhere else, preferably somewhere that knows what the **** they're doing.

First off you dont need any boost-a-spark whatever that junk is. Also, emanage is JUNK. Ebay turbos....JUNK. You have a lot of junk, you need a better tuner, an AEM standalone, and pick up a decent turbo like a garrett t3/t04e 60-1. That turbo is inexpensive and can make about 550whp if pushed. Go with the .82 a/r turbine housing as well...keeps the power from dropping after 7800rpm or so ( ap1 f20c ).

Its one of the better ones, but there are others, that don't use water lines for a better bolt in solution. Give me a PM for other options. I'm sure I can help.

Get rid of the boosta spark. OEM F20c coil packs have gone well past 700WHP

Switch to AEM EMS or Hondata K-PRO for the s2000.

Also, upgrade your turbo...

the small exaust could be holding back top end.. and stock s2000 motors are good to a whp.. d-series are good to 250 stock.. bseries to 350 give or take..

so your engine is well within safe boundaries at 240... 400 whp isnt out of the question if you have the right supporting parts.

Until you get serious about the most important parts of your car - turbo & ems - expect underwhelming power.

Those ebay turbos are usually 46 trim with a 2"/3" wheel, not sized for much over 300whp unless you crank the boost. They also have issues with friction inside sometimes, IE a thrust bearing that's grinding like crazy. E-manage can be delt with, but the honest truth is that another $1k is pennies vs what you've already spent.

Lastly would most certainly be exahaust. Unless your AFR's are tuned perfect for a catalyst, you will be faced with melting cats much more often than usual. The stock exhaust isn't as bad as a stock civic, but still not intended for a turbo system.
