Default deciding on drag slicks

hey guys/gals,

im getting ready to order a set of MT drag slicks for the track and i am deciding between 2 sizes. one is 22x8.5x14 and the other is 24x8.5x14. they will be going on my civic coupe w/ lsv-t putting down 350whp. i am leaning towards the 22" ones sice it is pretty much a stock replacement size, but opinions are welcome.
thanks

i have used both and can tell you with out a doubt 23s are a better choice for you, MH makes them. but if you have to choose go with the 24.5s the 22s will just spin bad, they are pretty much for NA cars.

sorry didnt notice the 14s, most of us run 13s any way 24.5 is the right choice for you.

What rim are you using to put that slick on?

i am currently using the 24.5x8-14 on stock steel rims. they work great for me.

if you want more variety, i would stay away from the 14's. get a 13 or a 15. 23x8-13 is a great size

Andy right? hey wassup.
What is the width of the 13" rim? You have to look at the recommended wheel width that the slick requires. I'm assuming thats the 13x5" wide stockies. That wont work. A 7-8" wide rim is recommended for that slick.

PM me on this if you have any questions.
