JUMPSTARTING NIGHTMARE need help assapp!
i have a 91 civic with an ls swap, and i was jump starting my car and i hooked all the jumper cables up to the terminals (i now realize the importance of grounding my end to the chassis, so dont give me that.) and right when i hit my fuel pump switch i saw a big spark in the engine bay. i go to scope things out and i saw the handle of the + jumper claw fell onto my intake & caused that spark. the car doesnt get ANY power now, i checked all the fuses in my engine bay and under the dash and theyre all fine. could it be the main relay cutting power off everywhere else? i have no idea where to start looking or what to do. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!
Have you checked all of the fuses in the underhood fuse box?
Try checking continuity detween the various points (Chassis-engine- neg battery terminal),(pos battery terminal- alt- starter)

yes aswell as the fuses under the dash, the previous owner ghetto rigged some alarm wiring downthere around the fuse box. I traced all the loose wires along with a couple others & looked them up and down for any exposed wire or broken ends but nadaa.
Triple check the fuses in the engine bay. The 80 amp fuse (big rectagular one with a clear window on top) is the one that usually blows.
It looks like this (the one in the link has the window removed):

Usually what blows is the main fuse in the
underhood fuse block..
It is larger that the ATC blade type fuses and
has to be unscrewed with a phillips head.

Sounds like you shorted out your battery. remove it form the vehicle and see if power is restored to your car when running from the other cars battery (via booster cables is fine.)
noo it wasnt the battery, i currently have a buddy club racing spec condenser installed and the little blue was lite up.
thank youu! this was exactly the culprit, replaced it and everything works great.
