I have a 2000 Civic EX with the original D16Y8.

I rolled 100,000 miles not too long ago, so I decided to purchase all the tune-up parts (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc.) I was planning on replacing.

I ordered everything from myhondapartsstore.com since I saw the banner on this site, and was pleased with the prices, however they were able to mess up my order TWICE.

The first shipment they sent me only contained the water pump, and thermostat gasket along with the packing slip that listed ALL the parts I ordered.

Good news is, they were willing to resolve the issue, and re-sent my shipment with the missing parts, as well as upgrading my shipping to 2-day.

And now, we're at today, when the second shipment comes, with all my missing parts, BUT, the wrong thermostat. How they packed the wrong one is beyond me when the part numbers between the one I ordered and the one I received are no where near the same.

Anyway, my main question is, the thermostat I received is from an 01-05 Civic EX, and those have D-series too right? So is this thermostat (p/n: 19301-PLC-315) interchangeable with one for a D16Y8?


CLIFFS:
-Ordered parts from myhondapartsstore.com
-Messed up first shipment and missing over half of the parts I ordered
-Resent shipment with upgraded shipping free-of-cost to me
-Received missing parts, but they went me a thermostat from an 01-05 Civic EX instead of one for a 00 Civic EX
-Are they interchangeable?

The thermostats can be interchanged. Cheers.
