one of my friends converted all my wiring to obd1 from obd0 in my ef civic sedan dx....i never had a problem till one day my ac and my radio kept turning off.. at first if i turned the car off then on it will turn back on.. then when i put the ac on the radio will shut off. and after a while now both radio or ac doesnt turn on... the outside ac components turn on but not the inside and the radio doesnt work... my friend moved to ga and i reallly dunno how to mess with the wiring diagrams to know which wires willl control that.. none of the fuses are blown what else can be the problem or if someone has done this b4 what wires should i check ??how can i find the short

 

Check the wiring in the area of the ac and radio and see if any wires have come loose or are shorting out. What exactly do you mean by he converted the car to obd1?

 

he cut all the interior wiring and spliced in the obd1 harness by matching the wires that belonged together to make the interior work properly

 

well then in must be in the wireing. maybe he didnt wire loom something and theres a break in the wire. just go over all the work he did.
