Just Bought My new 93 integra.. want some opinions.. What Swap? Wat setup?
I dont know if this is the right section to get opinions.. Im sure a moderator will block this if it is..
Well I just bought a 1993 Acura Integra.. Sold my crx.. planned on getting an EF 4 door but couldnt find one without alot o rust.. I saw this integra and it was so clean I just had to get it. Bought it for $1600 with 120,000 miles on it. I thought I got a pretty good deal.. Slammed it put my Fresh HX wheels on it.. looks BANGING.
Now I want opinions on swaps? What should I do.. heard DA's are expensive as hell to put in anything besides a B-series.. so I plan on putting in a b series Im guessing. I want to know what I can make the most power with without having to do any machine work to anything.. as in bore, port and polish. I was thinking of doing B18C1 block .. gsr rods with ctr pistons.. and a stock gsr head.. I was told it might be to high of compression and half to run better then 93 octane??
Can I please have some opinions on what I should do. Id appreciate the help. Thank you.

Well i Got a 93 integra and am running a simular set up...B18C1 block itr crank n rods with ctr pistons along with a gsr head with skunk2 springs and titanium retainers itr valves and ctr cams AEM adjustable cam gears and yes your compression is gonna be pretty dam high and if you are lucky enough like myself =] you mite come across a jdm ys1 tranny with lsd some jdm itr headers and a skunk2 manifold and youll have yourself a 13.2sec DA bt the bad thing is that you will need higher that 93 octane...bt for me its not so bad cause i dont daily drive it so i can live with it bt what are your plans?
You could swap in a b16 or a b17 but b17s are rare my dude dropped a 96 type-r motor in his da with a b16 tranny oh you cant forget the b18c1(gsr). Goog luck on your search.
LS/V since you already have the block.

buddy in az had a crx with a b20 vtec setup with some new pistons and some headwork and ran 12.5 on a 91oct tune, it was a budget build and i think he did it for just under 4g's before the tune
do some research in the forced induction and all motor forums, lots of useful info in those two areas. good luck!

that motor has low miles so you could get awaye with just boosting that motor and gettin a good tune..some extremely impressive numbers have came from stock ls motors (with a good tune of course)
