imma try to talk him down and please gimmie some advice if its better or worst than the purple famous harbor freight gun.
And by the way im shooting satin black rustoleum,
so no lectures about how poor or a bad decision im making. its just a bucket car
and besides it already has a rustoleum color on it already, so I'd rather not sand down to OG paint and do real paint

Seems like a good price for a brand name, not to mention a good regulator might go for $20+ alone, and it looks like that's included. I don't have any firsthand experience though (I didn't even know IR made spray guns). Just the fact that it's a reputable brand and it looks to be of good quality would lead me to say that it is definitely better than the HF guns.
But then again for Rusto, you don't need anything too fancy. Anything beats a roller.
And it sounds like you already know the downfalls of using that paint, so I won't go down that road

hah thanks for your input it made lots of sense, I've just never heard of the brand. But Rustoleums not so bad sure has way more downfalls but its a good practice paint, nice and cheap, Ive learned so much about the properties of paint in general from using it.
