Icon2 OBD1 CRX Si B17a1 running RICH!

Hello..

I have a '91 CRX Si b17a1 that is converted to OBD1 using Phearable.net P28 Spec ECU tuned basemap for my setup (which is just header back CAI), no o2 or knock sensors, no cat. My car is running extremely rich. I have checked over a lot of things like the sensors, plugs, wires, dizzy etc..TIMING is good, plugs were new, replaced a couple sensors, replaced the dizzy w/ obd1 dizzy. Is there anything else I need to replace? Like the injectors? I notice it has a resistor box and all so I assume it runs obd0 injectors. (I don't know EVERYTHING about this car yet, it is still sort of new to me.) It could have bigger injectors in it for all I know..and there is evidence that the car used to run a turbo. (front bumper is cut out to fit an inter-cooler etc.)

The ECU was throwing bad TPS sensor so I replaced that and calibrated it. There are NO codes being thrown.

Since the car and engine is OBD0, and I converted it to OBD1, would I need to do anything with the injectors or MAF sensor? I don't even see a MAF sensor..am I supposed to have one? The IAT sensor is good...I am stumped. My last resort is to drive to a tuner shop, which i don't want to do because my car is running so rich that after awhile it fouls out so bad that I have to take out the plugs and douse them with starter fluid just to get the car to run for a bit.

ANY suggestions are appreciated!

Well first thing I would check is to see if the motor is running stock injectors. As other injectors use a resistor box, such as DSM 450cc injectors (Blue tops), as well as your stock obd0 injectors. Most aftermarket injectors have their logo on them as well as a part number etched into them which usually indicates what size they are. ex. RC injectors has PL4-1000H which means 1000cc injectors.

Honda's do not use a MAF sensor, they use MAP sensors instead. If no codes are being thrown this isn't an issue.
