hi
97 accord
150k miles
When engaged the A/C was blowing cold air BUT would stop blowing air at all and than start again in 30 second intervals this has happened for the past couple months every once and awhile but the past week it has gotten more frequent
now the A/C does not blow any air at all not even from the defrost or heater when engaged
any suggestions
thank you

Sounds silly but pull the **** off and check to see if the **** is just spinning on the stub there. You can just grab ahold of the stub and turn it. Turn on something and turn the **** all the way to the left then all the way to the right. Should click or rachet like 4 times from off to the high speed. If now air blows then, then sounds like the blower motor is bad or check fuse or there may be a relay. If it does, you just need a new **** or some super glue. HA.

I dont think its the **** because it was working and turning off and on once and awhile
and than it gave up
is there a way to check it or just replace it and see what happens?
Just about has to be blower motor related. Either mechanical or electrical since none of your functions blow any air at all. The a/c compressor normally cycles on and off itself but there should be no difference in what blows in the cabin of the car you know. I just thought maybe you turned the fan **** off and when you went to turn it on it wouldn't, then the **** could be a factor. That just happened to me last week.

So now I am confused. Does or does it not blow air at any other setting now? I am assuming previously you did not know because it was only set on a/c.
Whoops I see you already answered that with the beginning post edit.
So I would be willing to bet the blower motor has either had a short or has been going out.
