Hi guys, im 16 years old, and i just got my first car. its a 96 ex red, si lip, si interior, manual tranny. have no idea how to drive stick but im learnin, tell me what you think.

and i wouldnt say i hate it
leave it stock and keep it maintained. looks clean

Looks good... some advice....

paint the mirrors flat black cuz thats how they come, or paint the sideskirts red... it just doesnt look right as is.... get some OEM wheels like Si wheels or HX wheels, and maybe get a ctr front and rear lip ;-) you will be riding in style on a budget ;-)

 

it had nice wheels on it until my bro took them and said your riding on steelies, i want some wheels but i dont know what i like black with red lip, show me some stuff,i have put an si lip on it so that makes it look better. if possible give me some links for aftermarket stuff, because i just cant find anything with pictures for my car i havent even drove it yet, but ive moved it around the driveway, im so lost on this manual.

give it a nice drop(not too much) add rims and foggies and your good.

nice car, grab some OEM rims and keep it stock looking, no need to attract attention, seeing as civics are super high on teh stealing list lol


keep the motor you have, dont be liek the rest of the civic crowd and swap right away, have some single slammer fun!!

Yeah, make sure you learn to drive the car first before you really start getting crazy with it. After you are comfortable with driving it start doing things you would like. As someone has already stated, check out the Appearance and Cosmetic thread.

Do yourself a favor and spend about 3 months reading these boards and other honda boards before you start askin questions about ****. Most of your questions are probably already answered.

Dont beat on it...Y8's oil pumps suck and you'll nuke it.

did you paint the steelies? and lip fitment looks off. Also stickers are kinda...

Just keep it stock until you learn enough to make informed decisions.

keep it nice an clean 99-00 front end be a plus get coils for now an it be great :thumpup:
