FS: 440HP CRX Built Type-R swap(Buffalo NY)
This is a 1990 Honda CRX HF. The motor was swapped for a B18C Integra Type R motor with 30k on it. The motor was torn down, machined and honed, rebuilt with forged internals, race bearings, and a built head. It was turbo-ed and then tuned. The chassis has about 150k miles on it, although this really doesn't matter because the car has all new suspension parts, new brakes, and a racing cross-member with traction bars. In total this car has $20,000+ into it(INC labor of course). The car was built at Innovative Tuning located in Buffalo NY. The entire car is overbuilt for the amount of power it's putting down. This car was built to be a reliable daily driver first, and a fast toy second. Car passes inspection.
Innovative tuned at 17PSI making 440WHP 321wtq on 93 octane(DYNO PROVEN, have sheets!). Car weighs 1900 pounds. The Rev limiter is 8700 and the vtec engages at at 5700 rpm. Full boost is reached around 6000rpm. The car is extremely drive able on the street and is a complete monster on the highway. It's tame, but it can be scary fast.
Mechanically speaking, this car is perfected.
The only problems are:
The paint sucks. The paint is a very cool Pearlescent white, however the person who owned it before me absolutely did the worse prep job.(Sanded down the clear coat and sprayed the color on top) therefore there is small paint chips and whatnot.
The car could use a 8pt roll cage badly(Safety purposes..)
The driver side seat has a tear in it.
