Question for size of Clutch Line/pipe
Hello all...i am performing a automatic to manual tranny swap TOMORROW...lol. I have all of the parts that i need, except for the clutch pipe/line from the Master Cylinder to the Slave Cylinder. I'm wanting to buy it from my local parts store, but they need to know what size and diameter of the steel tubing that i need, as well as what fittings i need to connect the line to the MC and SC. I have searched here and on google, and i cannot find out the diameter of the pipe, the length that i need, or the fittings that i need. can anyone PLEASE help me out here? THANK YOU!!!
EDIT: I'm not doing the 4 different clutch line sections like stock, im just running the brake/clutch line directly from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder, in one piece.

i appreciate your quick response, however, as i stated above i'm performing this swap tomorrow...no time to buy or have anything shipped. i need to buy from the parts store, so i can have it then...since time is an issue. does anyone have an old line laying around that they could perhaps cut/measure? i really need this info, i'll appreciate it forever! thanks

theres a 10mm fitting on the master cylinder, it goes to the prop valve, goes out of the prop valve as a 12mm and into the rubber line. then the rubber line goes from a 12mm to a 10mm when it enters the slave cylinder.
if you dont clamp the line down every 2 inches itl flex. and if yoru motor flexes that much...you need better mounts. just be patient and buy that line from chasebays youl get everything you need to make it work..you thank yourself for being patient
well i cant wait because i took 5 days off from work to do it...and i cant afford to do that again. I guess what ill do is get 2 feet of 3/16" metal line, 1 foot of rubber line and finish it with metal line...will that be enough rubber? or should i just buy 4 feet of metal line and just do rubber everywhere the line needs to curve or go 90 degrees?are you saying that the line should be 50% rubber line, and 50% metal? once again i HAVE to do this tomorrow, so i need to know what to buy at advance auto to get this to work. PLEASE explain exactly what i need that is obtainable from the parts store. I thank both of you for responding so quickly and being helpful, but i really need to know what to buy. keep the posts coming everyone! thank you!
EDIT: should i get 1/8" metal line or 3/16" metal line?
By the way, my auto tranny is failing, so i cannot do the conversion later. that's why i need to do it now, aside from the work issue.
