and my ek doesnt have PS
anyone done it?

i just did a ps swap into my 97 hatch. what motor do you hav?


if its a d series you will just need all the pwoer steetring stuff from any 96-00 civic.

you need:

pump + bracket
pressure line
return line
resevour
power steering rack
belt ( obviously )

and your set! install it all and enjoy!

 

not to go off-topic but i was 16 at the time also when i got my ek w/ no ps. when i first took the car home, i barely even noticed i had no ps and been driving it in and out of chicago traffic. all you neeed is a little muscle.

 

for the like 150 bucks in used parts, i feel like im driving a mercedes lol with my power steering hatch, i love it and think its the best mod ive ever done to my hatch.

 

i hate my power steering, loved my accord that didnt, i was 16 to lol.
what 90rexx posted looks right to me.

agreed ps sucks i dont have it either muscle through the turns i started out at 16 driving a 67 chevy pickup without ps that sob felt like driving a tank
