im swapping a jdm d15b into my car and was wondering which timing belt im supposed to use??
its the 92-95 normal jdm d15b vtec motor


some people are saying to use the 1.5 cx belt??
then others the d16z6?? im confused and dont wanna use the wrong one
same with alternator belt?

D16Z6, most of the parts are similar except for the cam and timing belt tensioner pulley but just use Z6 parts

 

i read in the d15b thread that ur supposed to use a VX belt?!?!?
everyones confusing me does anyone have a solid answer?!?

i hear the d16z6 one is too loose

 

in the faqs it tells you all the usdm parts you need to use, look it up.
