Default ef problems

so im trying to figure out why my sedan has this starting problem/bad idling/ and randomly bogging off,it usually starts up in the morning and stuff. But sometimes ill be driving around and it shuts off at a stoplight randomly and feels like it can baraly crank again. Or i can wait for like 5-10 minutes after shutting it off say to get gas or somthing and get back in and it dosent fire up again, ill wait 2 minutes and try again and it fires up most of the time. Ive had to push start it a few times and that worked but sometimes no. Somebody suggested when its hot the plugs are so hot it dosent fire or somthing i dont know, and its usually hot when it dose this. And this has happend before when it wouldnt start and i actually get someone to jump me and the first time it took forever to jump me and this morning me and a friend tried jumping it and it just cranked and cranked, no fire. Im hoping its just the battery but it could be something else...I just checked my main relay and all the solder points are fine and my battery have the right voltage. Somebody suggested on my IACV there is a 5 point allenwrench type thing he said to screw in and help idling but the random shutting off and not cutting back on sucks. any help?

Is the car throwing any codes?

The IACV has a screen you have to clean out, the FITV has a screw you can turn but those only deal with idle, not starting.

I would bet it would be in the distributor, like I'v seen cars where if the Ignition Control Module is hot, the car will not start. I would try swapping out dizzys first if you have one you can try.

Try another main relay, if the main relay is getting hot it won't give power to the dizzy, fuel pump etc. I would try that one first. That might also cure your fuel injector code as well.

Went to a junnkyard, pulled a main relay. I went to my car after work and it did a slow crank with no fire. then jumped it and fast crank no fire. put the main relay in and started fine. And its started fine the rest of the day so that issue is solved. thanks guys. Theres a pentagon shaped allen wrench on the IACV and someone told me to turn it to make it idle diffrently, would that help

also somebody looked at my car and said that there was to many amps running to the ECU or somthing, would that have anything to do with randomly throwing up a code then i shut the car off and its fine. when the check engine light comes on, when i rev it, it hesitates then revs.

There is no adjustment for the iacv. To change the idle there is a flat head screw in the throttle body. Depending on how you turn it you can raise and lower the idle.

Maybe it's because karma is a bitch? If you wouldn't scam people out of money for gauge clusters this wouldn't happen. I'm still waiting for my money back or a cluster, it's up to you, I paid you on May 26th!!
