Hey all, im looking to update the paint on my sun-faded-oxidized-red crx si. I was told by the painter that its cheaper to stick with a color similar to stock so the whole chassis doesnt have to be taken apart to cover all the intricate details. So im looking for suggestions/recommendations for a nice red. He also suggested a charcoal/red two tone job, but any suggestions are welcomed!

 

if you got the time and the money then go with another color...if your limited on funds then hit up maaco or earl scheib...!!!

 

Im not completely cheaping out on this.. my uncle is going to do the body work (a couple minor rust spots and dents) as well as the paint. he said it would cost substantially more to change the color completely but im looking at 1200 dollars right now.

 

milano red, if your lucky like I was, stage 1 paint kits will be around 150$

 

i only offered a suggestion like you asked for...you know what they say "you get what you pay for" but if you got the hook ups then by all means go for it...!!!

omg thats alot of money for a paintjob. anyway, color choice is up to you. don't let people make your mind up for you.
