Adding datalogger to Hondata s200
Ed, (I spoke to you at the expo recently)
Are you trying to add internal datalogging? Or just communication while the computer is plugged in to the car?
Internal is not possible with 200/100, depending on the version software your car was tuned on, you may be able to turn on the logging feature when the computer was plugged in though. It will depend on when your car was tuned, and if it was V3 or RE4.

hey sander.
i'm not sure what version it is. serial # is in the 1100's, and i probably got it in 2003.
I would think that it would just be a matter or flashing new firmware, after all that is how they did it at the dealers when you bought it, right?

You can give your dealer $50 bucks, and grab the unlock code, and enter it in the Hondalogger software.
With your ECU connected to your computer and key on (RS232 Serial cable from laptop to blue box) Open Hondalogger, Open the ECU tab, Go down to ECU Information, Upgrade the Datalogging feature, then enter the code.
You're set from there.
If you want, drop me a line with the serial number, I'll contact my dealer and get you the code.
