Default obd0 b16 swap crx fuel problems

Ok guys see if you can help me out. I've got a 90 crx with a obd0 b16 swap. I can get it started but for some reason its not getting fuel to the number 4 cyl. All other cyl are getting fuel and spark but number 4 just isnt geting fuel. Just put a brand new walbro in it and have already changed out dizzy's with a known good distributor. I've swapped out injectors in the number 4 cyl and its the same thing, still no fuel there. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you done the basics? Check all of your wiring, check your wiring again, and check your wiring one last time. If that failed then I would probably check your wiring. Hey I forgot to mention one last thing check your wiring.

Theres not reallhy any wiring to be checked, its a stock harness and everytthing is hooed up as it should be.

If that’s your answer then here is mine. If everything is hooked up as it should be then it would be working, now wouldn't it?

Well its all hooked up as it should be its a stock harness everythign is where it goes. Also just checked all the injector wires, all plus are getting power to them , number 4 just isnt spraying for some reason. And no just because everything is hooked up doesnt mean there isnt another underlying problem somewhere. Im out of idea's thats why i posted, in case someone is thinking of soemthing i havnt.

Well I agree but the number one cause for problems in swapped cars is the wiring. Most people, like you, just assUme that it is all correct. If you have already swapped out the injectors for known good ones then I guess you could try and check it off the list. Also maybe the wiring is swapped around on the injector plug; it could cause it to not fire. Either that or there could possibly be a blockage to the port for the injector. Do some more checking, don't let us check it for you (we can't do that because we are not there).

Already tried swapping injectors and still the same thing. This isnt the first time i've swapped a motor i do it for a living, im just confused on this problem. Its really odd, all the inj plugs are on the right injector, just went over all the wriing again and its all good. All the other cyl are getting fuel and spark but 4 isnt getting fuel, but its getting power to the plug...

Again, have you checked the wiring on the plug, maybe it needs to be swapped around. Also how many volts is it getting at the plug?

Yes i've checked to make sure the plugs are the right ones, where its a stock harness you cant really mess up switching the plugs because they wil only reach so far. It was getting 11.5 , so basically 12 volts

I had a starter wire go bad and checked everything in the book because i didn't want to run a new wire and deal with tucking it or having a stray wire. I started the car one minute and it was perfectly fine, as soon as I shut it of I tried to crank it back up and I got nothing, so I narrowed it down to either replacing things or running a new wire, I ran a new wire and never had a problem since. wires can randomly go bad out of no where. I didn't believe it until it happened to me. worth a shot and i bet it fixes your problem, based on what you have written. same with my coolant temp sensor wire, I replaced the wire and poof no problems!

Well i figured it out. I guess it was just a bad number 4 injector. Funny enought i went through 3 that i thought were good that were bad too lol, but now have a known good one in there and its fine.

100 bucks says those 3 injectors are still good and the tiny filters that are on the top are clogged up. glad you figured it out though
