A/C Air Condition Problems
I have used the DYE, and UV Light Detector and Super Sealer, and have sealed the leaks, I added at least 2 refrigerants and the metal lines are like frozen when the engine,a/c is on full blast, but inside the car I dont feel any cold air coming out? what could be the problem?
also is it normal when cold water drips from the hose right under the passenger side of the car?
also does the a/c need a minimum amount of pressure? because when i sealed one of the leaks, i loosened up one of the lines and pressure bursts out. i re tightened it and made sure it had no leaks.

any temp differnece when you switch the vents to hot compared to cold? maybe your blend door isnt fully opening and or closing properly.
yes it is normal for water to drip from the evap drain.
a/c does need a min. amnount of pressure, and not only that..it also needs not to exceed the maximum amount of pressure. it wont "cool" as well without the correct amount of freon.
what kind of car so i can look up the correct amount of freon for you.

how do i add a min amount of pressure to the A/C? i thought that the refrigerant would solve this problem, because when i loosened one of the lines alot of pressure bursts out, if not alot all the pressure, how do i put pressure back to it? thanks
im sorry...i didnt mean pressure. to make it simple for you replace the word pressure with the word freon.
amoutn of freon is the pressure.. you can somehwhat measure the amount of freon by observing the pressure of the high side and low side. (basically saying your overfull...or underfilled and thats it). pressure has a direct relationship with temp. tempature and pressure together can give you an idea of how much freon but it is not 100 percent accurate.
your compressor actually creates the pressure

if so thats not supposed to happen
you need to hook up some pressure guages.
the low side needs to be 32 -40 psi
the high side needs to be between 160 and 200 psi
anything over 200 psi and you have a restriction somewhere, too much oil, etc

frost buildup is ok.
if it was completly frozen then it wouldnt be dripping.
temopature and pressure are directly related so correct reading of 32 -40psi is just that...32 degrees-40 degrees.
32 degrees is freezing.
if tyhe lines are frozen then the compressor will not engage.
my money is on the blend door not working.. what does your car do on the hot setting?

how do i make the water drip down from the passenger side? because yesterday it kinda got cool a bit when i saw it dripping, now its not blowing any cold air and not dripping but the lines are semi frozen.
yopu giove it time to drip...it will take a couple of minutes. water drippin is from the frost buildup and or the actual condensation/evaporation process that the freon goes through.
what happens when you turn the dial to hot? and then back to cold? how much of a tempature indifference?
look behind your control panel or under the glove box and follow the cable to the blend door and manual move the cold lever.

when i put it on hot, it gets pretty warm, then back to cold it just feels like the fan is on, but i see the compressor spinning and the lines getting frosty. yea i seen the lever move

that same one i bought, slapped on it the low pressure and the needle does not move.

i dont have a gauge to check it, i will have to get one tomorrow, but it gets cold only when the "button where it has a arrow in a circle inside the car is on" it goes back to fan(cold) where the "button of the arrow from the outside to the inside of the car is on"
