94 accord How do I know if my tranny is going out?
On my last thread, someone said that if my car jerks then it could be my tranny...but it feels like it's just not getting fuel because my filter is extremely old and clogged which I am replacing today. So after I change my filter, if it still does it should I look into getting it rebuilt?
first change that filter, and i didnt see your last post so im not sure exactly whats going on with your car but try a process of elimination before going out and buying a rebuild.
for example youll make sure the car is getting fuel, then you make sure that fuel is getting to the igniton, then make sure the ignition works. a tanny rebuild can be a little pricey. good luck

common problems with 5th gen transmissions
1. harsh shifting as unit gets older- The fix is to add a can of lubeguard for imports with a drain and fill if you have been chaning the fluid regularly or a 3x drain and fill if you have not.
