Most likley reason for stalling problem?
I recently purchased a 1992 accord with 132k miles, automatic transmission. I have had the car about a month now and recently it started stalling. At first it was after the car was warmed up, if stopped on the inital acceleration it will stall, sometimes if I give it enough gas it will almost stall but keep running. Now for the first time it stalled while in park, again after the car had been warmed up.
The car otherwise the car seems to runs fine, starts right up and idle is smooth. Any ideas on what to check next?
Plugs are new and clean
Plug wires are new
Oil is clean
Tranny Fluid is full and clean
Hoses look okay

It could be your distributor. If you drive around until its hot, then shut if off and try to restart it and have difficulty. Then your distributor is going bad. The electronics inside are baking to death. Its a common problem, mine did it too.
Thanks a lot, I'll check that out. Do you mean the distributor or the cap and rotor? If it's the whole distributor, anyone know if there is some kind of test? That's big bucks to spend if it's not that.

Yeah its expensive but it should come with a lifetime warranty. Just make sure you scan your receipt so you have a digital copy.
